As Ripley, your mission is to rescue all the hostages, exterminate the alien threat and escape with your life.  Actually, the game isn't half bad if you put something heavy down on the (~) key in FCE Ultra .  I liked it enough to make Game Genie codes for the NTSC version.  If you want PAL codes, just ask.  There are none currently available on the internet until now.
